Establishing a legal relationship with new kin-children is a challenging, but vital process. Because most schools and hospitals require documentation to provide services to children, some form of legal relationship will ease the transition from biological parent to kin-parent.

Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program
The Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program (IVLP) provides a safety net for low-income individuals and families in Idaho who require civil legal services and cannot afford to pay for them. IVLP recruits attorneys from local communities who volunteer their time and expertise to assist those in need.

Idaho Legal Aid Services
Idaho Legal Aid Services is a nonprofit statewide law firm dedicated to providing equal access to justice for low income people through quality advocacy and education.
